After an intense evaluation process, the assessment of the 146 applications received for the 2014 CAP Communication Awards is now complete. The CAP Communication Awards are aimed at showcasing the very best practice examples of communication initiatives related to the Common Agricultural Policy in the three categories of Communication to Stakeholders, Communication to the Public and Innovative Communication.
Three finalists per category have been selected by an independent jury of communication professionals and CAP experts. Among them is also the ESSEDRA project – co-funded by the European Union through DG Enlargement and coordinated by Slow Food – selected for the category Communication to the Publicwith the following reason: “This communication project tackles effectively the dilemma people face in accession countries in understanding the Common Agricultural Policy. Within a clear campaign design, ESSEDRA uses an intelligent networking approach to reach out and address misconceptions of the CAP on the Balkans.” Click here for reading the full description.
