Association of Slow Food Convivia in Bulgaria

The event took place on 28 and 29 September in the village of Kolarovo, in the Petrich municipality. Participants from Bulgaria, SF Macedonia and Callisto (an associate partner in ESSEDRA) took part. During the first day the participants were guests at the Chestnut Festival, which concluded with a tasting of local foods prepared by women from the villages in the foothills of the Belasitsa mountains. The second day was dedicated to various topics related to food identity and culture, rural development, etc.
